The medicine

Now the courses really became the basis on which the Russian State Medical University was built. In September 1906, the first lecture was held at the new faculty, and in 1908 it was opened for medical students, which later became the anatomical building of the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. After the revolution
In October 1918, the Collegium of the People's Commissariat of Education established the transformation of higher courses for women into the 2nd State University, a mixed educational institution. There were still three faculties in the newly-founded university, the same ones, but two years later a scientific society was already opened at the medical faculty. In 1921, medical students organized a commission to combat child homelessness and fight hunger and opened an orphanage at their own expense.
In July 1926, the Faculty of Medicine already held a meeting to select its first graduate students, after which scientific papers on medical subjects began to appear periodically in the press: in 1928, two issues of scientific articles were published Faculty of Medicine. And in 1930, the People's Commissariat of Education issued an order by which the university was reorganized into three completely independent institutions. Independence
In 1930, the faculty was again reorganized into a medical and prophylactic one, and in addition, a second one was opened nearby. In December 1932, another faculty was opened - medical and physical education.

Medical students never left public work for the benefit of the capital and the country, showing exceptionally useful initiatives. So, in 1938, the students of the institute carried out for the first time in the country a preventive examination of the entire population of an entire district of Moscow, and not even the smallest one. The population of the Khamovniki region was put on medical records.
In March 1939, by order of the People's Commissar of Defense, a military faculty that existed until 1944 was formed at the medical institute, supplying military doctors to all fronts of the Great Patriotic War. With the beginning of the war, a huge part of the staff, professors, teachers and students of the institute left as volunteers. In October 1941, some of the rest were evacuated and worked and studied in Omsk until 1943.

pocket. Yes, to get credit for them, it is enough to bring your body to class and not skip. In general, for information - the word skip should go out of use for you for 6 years of study here, and then you will have much less problems)
-Now, in general, about the quality of education, I flipped through the reviews a bit, in short, when I was in the 2nd year it was all born, now along the way it has become total nonsense ... I'm talking about my favorite TESTS .... yes, having studied there, you will learn it’s great to memorize them (even without understanding what it says) and write ... I set records for myself, managing to write an exam test for 100% in 1.5 minutes ..... the whole philosophy of study was reduced to the formula - to lean on pairs , write a test memorized without understanding - get a good mark, so a couple of three times and automatically pass ...

As a result: Everything theoretical training it comes down to cramming tests, ahhh, there’s actually no practical one ...... there are individuals in 4-5 courses who don’t know how to measure pressure, who don’t know how to provide elementary first aid and a lot of ordinary things. There, by the way, I learned from colleagues from other regions that everything was different for them, they assisted in operations in the 4th year, they didn’t play the fool in the staff’s rooms, I sit in an empty cycle and they weren’t allowed to go home at 12 days already ... .From here, I do not recommend the university for training. In defense, I’ll say that of the pluses - training 5 days a week and the first 3 courses in the same building - there will be no trips around Moscow .... I can’t vouch that it’s better in other Moscow ones, although reviews from their students about Sechenka were better ... and of course self-education is power))
