The admission committee of the leading university of the republic began its work in the second decade of June. During this time for full-time department more than 1,300 people have already applied, and about a thousand - in absentia. The greatest demand, which, however, is already traditional, is enjoyed by economic specialties, jurisprudence and medicine.

Despite the fact that it was repeatedly said at almost all levels that today's realities dictate their conditions, namely, the need to train specialists for workers and technical specialties, the current trend, alas, has not yet been reversed.

We also have other very good faculties: mathematics, physics, fundamental and applied chemistry, Information Systems and technology, history and other specialties, which in the future in our republic will be more in demand than, for example, lawyers and economists. Therefore, there is a big request to our applicants to apply for engineering specialties, such as construction, agronomy, animal science, agricultural engineering. I would like the guys today when choosing future profession they made a more balanced choice, so that in the future, after graduation, they would not be left behind, as they say, without finding a job in their specialty, - said Zahidat Sultygova, IngSU Vice-Rector for Research.

Acceptance of documents for face-to-face training is carried out according to 25 educational programs (specialties), for correspondence - 22. For the information of applicants: there are some innovations in the enrollment procedure this year.

Unlike previous years, applicants must submit an application for consent to enroll in a particular specialty. This was not the case before. At the time of the enrollment deadline, the applicant must already decide which educational program he wants to study, and must submit, together with the original documents on general secondary education, an application for consent to enroll in the chosen specialty, - the professor explained.

From total number There are also applicants who are entitled to certain benefits: these are the disabled, orphans, children of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. For these categories this year, 61 places have been allocated for full-time and 41 for correspondence departments.

Except them, special rights upon admission to study under the bachelor's and specialist's programs are provided to the winners and prize-winners school olympiads in specialties and (or) areas of training corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad. For individual achievements, an advantage is provided in the form of additional points to the results.

Recall also that applicants can apply for enrollment at the same time in five universities for three specialties in each. Those who intend to become a student of YSU, but for some reason hesitated to apply to the admissions committee, should hurry up: there are only a few days left before the deadline for submitting documents: the acceptance of documents ends on July 26.
