The authors of the project propose to implement some high-tech ideas in the construction of housing and infrastructure. "We want to make the most of the roofs of industrial hangars. The implementation of the entire project, according to preliminary estimates by TDI, could cost 8 billion euros, that is, more than 359 billion rubles. The cost of specific projects and their areas have not been worked out in the concept.

The project also involves the conversion of old industrial facilities. "There is a cement elevator on the bank of the river. It can be turned into a museum of modern industrial architecture, or a huge aquarium can be placed in its place, which will attract tourists. A car museum, a robotics park can be opened on the territory of the technopolis, and conference rooms can be arranged in old factories" Tiger said.

According to the expert, high-rise office development will help save land for public areas, but it should visually fit into the architectural appearance of the quarter. Sokolov believes that the named amount of possible costs of 8 billion euros is plausible. A low rental rate can attract investors to such projects, because, in general, economic growth rates are declining today. Pechatniki is a district where the problems of the city's housing stock are clearly reflected. There are 237 buildings here, many of which are in need of major repairs.

A few years ago, 14 houses in the Kuryanovo microdistrict were found to be dilapidated and in need of repair. But it turned out that they are located in the sanitary protection zone of the Kuryanovskaya aeration station, where, according to the law, nothing can be built or overhauled. Now we are talking about the demolition of old and the construction of new housing in Kuryanov, because the local old-timers do not want to leave their homes. Nearby is a beautiful green massif, an interesting landscape that I would like to preserve, and build houses using the cascade method.

Until the end of 2006, the overhaul will be completed without resettlement of six former dormitories of OAO Moskvich on Polbina and Shosseynaya streets. Repair of the second building on Batyuninskaya Street, 4 has begun.
