Typical exam options in history. Preparing for GIA and exam in history

The manual contains: 10 options for typical test items with answers to each task and a detailed analysis of the answers to the tasks of part C, as well as detailed analysis option 4.

The structure and typology of the examination papers contained in the manual (typical test tasks) fully correspond to the structure of the demo version of the Unified State Exam, published in the open press and placed on the Internet.

Part 1 (A) of the examination paper contains 21 multiple choice tasks. The task of the graduate is to choose the correct answer from the four offered and mark it in the answer sheet. The task, therefore, is reduced to identifying the only correct answer.
Level A tasks test knowledge of dates, main historical facts, phenomena, concepts, terms; causes and effects of events; the ability to extract information from a source.

Part 2 (B) includes 13 tasks that require a short answer in the form of a number, a sequence of numbers or a word (phrase).

Level B tasks test the following skills: Sequencing historical events; group historical information; to systematize historical material on the basis of ideas about the general tendencies of the historical process; extract information from sources; work with a map and illustrative material, etc.

The tasks of parts 1 and 2 are checked by a computer program. But the answers of part 2 are rechecked by an expert, which is due to several factors: letters are “read” by a computer program worse than numbers; there may be several spellings of a word, etc.

Part 3 (C) is the most difficult, it consists of 6 tasks with a detailed answer.

Level C tasks test a complex of knowledge and skills: establish authorship, time, circumstances and purpose of creating a source; analyze the position of the author and participants of the events described in the source; identify common features and differences of compared historical events, processes; distinguish between facts and opinions, descriptions and explanations, hypotheses and theories in historical information; establish a complex of cause-and-effect relationships, etc.

This part of the work is checked by specially trained experts. To ensure the unity of the requirements for evaluating the answers of graduates, special instructions are being developed, which the experts are guided by. Instructions of this kind are also presented in this manual, in the section "Instructions for checking and evaluating students' work on the history of Russia."

We hope that the proposed manual will allow students to successfully prepare for the Unified state exam.
