There are many predictions by Mitar Tarabić (1829–1899), an illiterate peasant from the Serbian village of Kremna, regarding future events. In the Balkans, his predictions were called "Tarabich's black prophecies." The prophet's visions were recorded and preserved by a priest (Zachary Zakharich 1836-1918). After the death of the priest, the notebook was kept by his family. 1943 - when the village was captured by the Bulgarians, the notebook almost burned down during a fire. Currently, the manuscript is kept by the great-grandson of Zakharich, Dejan Malenkovic.
Tarabić's predictions(translated by Paul Bondarowski): “You see, godfather, the peace and abundance in which everyone will live after the second great war will be nothing more than a bitter illusion, because many will forget about God and begin to worship only their own human mind ... From the predictions of Mitaru Tarabicha

Mitaru Tarabichu (1829-1899), an illiterate peasant from the Serbian village of Kremna, from time to time had prophetic visions. Mitar Tarabich(1829-1899) was a peasant from Serbia, whom God and Providence awarded with unusual abilities - he could predict the future. Mitar was illiterate and told the local priest Zachary Zakharich (1836-1918) about his visions, and he wrote down the prophecies in a notebook.

In any case, Tarabichi were not the first prophets of these places. A certain Kremanian gave advice to Prince Lazar himself, the “vidovity” natives of Kremna are mentioned both under the famous Karadzhorge and under Prince Milos.
As for the Tarabic brothers, they became the most famous Serbian prophets of the nineteenth century. Largely thanks to his godfather, Archpriest Zakhary Zaharich, who not only wrote down all their prophecies, but also handed them over to Dr. Radovan Kazimirovich, the author of the book “Mysterious Manifestations in the Serbian People and the Kreman Prophecy.” True, there is a version that we do not know the true text of the brothers' predictions.
