European School of Correspondence Education Yeshko - reviews. negative, neutral and positive feedback

Disadvantages:

  • pumping money
  • price is not correct
  • materials are weak

I ordered materials for studying business English. I don’t understand why to fool people, they indicated the cost of 209 UAH 9 shares), but in the end I had to pay 276 UAH. They said on the phone that I had paid the entrance fee, but at the same time on the site they indicated that the payment was without an entrance fee. I have never seen such a scammer. And I would estimate a maximum of 20 UAH for books.

Advantages:

  • Price only

Disadvantages:

  • waste of time

The European School of Correspondence Education, I took courses from this school two years ago, to be honest, a waste of time.

I took an office manager course, I already know almost everything that I read there from the Internet, it feels like they wrote not a training course, but how to behave if you are an office manager, there are no specifics.

This is how this course looks like, probably they hired psychologists who are in the course of an empty conversation about how not to feel hurt and so on, in general, sheer nonsense. Constantly the same letters with discounts that they send to me in the mail.

These discounts, to be honest, all the time, and they write that there will be a discount for only 10 days, do not miss the opportunity. Previously, he somehow laughed, but now he is already sick of all sorts of actions and delirium that is there in every phrase.

In addition, they constantly annoyed me with their calls until I lost my phone, the number of which was recorded in their customer database. Moreover, they call all this concern for their customers, but we do not need such annoyance.

I still remember at the beginning, I saw an ad from them that you can become their consultant, so after I saw the conditions, I changed my mind and refused. The main condition was, if I'm not mistaken, to find ten students every month, so it scared me in general, such an obligation.

I want to say one thing, in no case will I take any course there again and I will not advise anyone. This is my opinion about this school, but of course you decide!

Advantages:

  • Free study schedule
  • useless
  • if you really study.

Disadvantages:

  • Too expensive!

Early 2000s... After graduating from school, 11 classes, I could not decide on a future profession. I was going to enroll in several courses at once before entering the university, get a couple of unrelated specialties, and then decide exactly what is really "mine". But... A person proposes, but circumstances dispose. For financial reasons, it didn’t work out with the university, so I went to work. I spent my first money on ESHKO courses.

Due to the lack of time to attend full-time courses, I decided to study remotely. I ordered several free trial lessons - about 7 pieces, they came within a month. Upon receipt by mail, I didn’t have to pay for anything, “trial” ones are 100% free. I signed up for those who were interested, becoming a "student" of ESHKO. I signed at the post office - filled out the form, sent it by regular mail. Parcels with lessons come every month by mail, paid cash on delivery. So, getting and not paying for courses will not work. In the first package you receive a "contract", and then you send it by regular mail. In the contract, you indicate your passport data, then you are assigned a student number. In addition to the main material (magazine with a lesson), each parcel contains an empty envelope - for sending homework to be checked. And an audio cassette if it's a language course. At that time there were still audio cassettes, yes, yes).

I would not say that ESHKO is a complete fraud and fraud. This is not true. Lessons are informative and well-written. If you are not lazy, study EVERY DAY, do not give up, in six months or a year (depending on the course) it is possible to get real knowledge! Daily classes, optimally, for an hour. About 20-30 minutes a day is a lie, of course. But there is also a significant drawback in the correspondence system of education. This is the financial side. Each course consists of many lessons, and therefore of many premises. Each package costs money: a lesson + postage + a stamp on an envelope to send to check homework. The amount came out every time round. You can buy the entire course at a time with a small discount (if finances allow) and only send homework for verification every month. At the end of the course, the student receives a certificate. It has no legal force and it is unlikely to get a job by presenting it. It's more like this, for yourself, your little victory... Now, in the era of the Internet, this form of education is no longer relevant, I think. Paying a lot of money, as it was 10 years ago, is not worth it for ESHKO courses.

This is a complete paragraph. Boring, stupid and uninteresting. Besides, it's expensive

Neutral Feedback

Advantages:

  • will teach everyone and everything, if you yourself want it

Disadvantages:

  • prices are a bit high

I used it myself (I took a French course) and I really liked it. Firstly, you don’t have to go anywhere, everything is sent to you home. Secondly, there is a disc that allows you to listen to foreign speech. Thirdly, you can call your teacher if you have any questions. Of course, the grammar here is rather weak: general information is given, but this is quite enough for communication. But it certainly helps to enrich the vocabulary. The main thing is to conscientiously treat all tasks. I would like to add that almost all my friends have taken at least some ESHKO courses and they really liked it, and most importantly, it came in handy.

I mastered the English language and management course with ESHKO... I really like it, everything is easy, simple, understandable... and most importantly, not expensive! The only thing that bothered me was the constant trips to the post office.

In "ESHKO" I studied for 1.5 years on the course "Spanish for Beginners". I studied Spanish exclusively for myself, on a whim, I was not going to use it anywhere. What captivates is the price. Especially if you get on any promotions. Personally, I paid 700 rubles a month, including postage. Considering that in our city the services of a tutor per month for 8 lessons cost at least 2,500 rubles, the savings in this case are not bad. In addition, you borrow when it is convenient for you, no one pushes you. Within a month from the date of receipt of the parcel, you complete two lessons and pass two control tests, respectively. The material is presented in a very accessible way, if you have any questions, you can write to your teacher, he will chew everything on the shelves. There is an audio recording of the lesson where you can listen to the correct pronunciation of words. After every 8th lesson, an intermediate control comes, on which cheating (as you can do in regular lessons by simply scrolling through the exercise book) will not work, here you need to turn on the brain and think. But there are also disadvantages.

Firstly, I was seriously lacking in conversational practice. I learned how to write an essay using all the rules, but it’s not very successful to apply this knowledge in colloquial fluent speech.

Secondly If you don't understand something, you won't get an answer right away. Either you are looking for the answer on your own in the vastness of the network, or you are waiting for the answer of the teacher. I also want to note that a number of courses (playing the guitar, yoga, cooking, knitting, etc.) are easier to study, let's say, online, not remotely from textbooks, but immediately in practice. And now there are heaps of such training videos and articles on the Internet. In any case, I am glad that I took advantage of this opportunity, received the initial knowledge, which I will try to develop further on my own.

Advantages:

  • affordable price
  • do it when it's convenient
  • The material is presented in an accessible and understandable way.
  • you can consult with the teacher
  • organize yourself

Disadvantages:

  • a little long
  • no speaking practice

Reviews about ESHKO Courses

Grinina Ekaterina

For the sake of interest, I bought a design course at Eshko. With a discount, he cost me 600 rubles / month. I've always looked forward to a learning magazine. True, it took a maximum of 2 hours to read it. The material was very easy to digest, everything is written in an accessible language. At the end, it was necessary to complete a practical task. The first job was scary, and at the same time interesting. I needed to divide the room into zones. With this task, I coped with "excellent".

Then the tasks became more difficult. I learned how to choose the right light sources, complement the dark areas with elegant floor lamps, lamps, diode strips, and even ordinary candles. I didn’t really like the lesson about finishing materials, but during the repair I will not be a layman.
The most interesting thing was to choose the color scheme of the room, to combine furniture, curtain fabric, flowers, chandeliers, sconces, etc. It's a good experience that worked for me. I even made a small rearrangement in the apartment, which expanded the space, bought several fresh flowers that complement the interior and simply delight the eye. The courses helped me broaden my horizons, get out of my comfort zone and look at new design trends with different eyes.

I study at Eshko according to the Extra program (intermediate English language. I pay for courses once a month, a package with educational materials also arrives once a month. They send a magazine and a CD with new lessons. If you want to get more training materials, you can order them on the website, the choice there is very decent. The prices are reasonable. After each lesson, homework is given out. It can be done electronically, but I prefer the usual way - written: this way the information is better absorbed and remembered faster. The completed exercises are sent for verification. After 2-5 days they are viewed and give a rating.
Grades are not quite standard as in school. They sound like this - “almost excellent”, “excellent”, “good” and “excellent”, I haven’t come across any bad ones yet. Grammar is the hardest for me. You have to delve into the essence and wait for help from nowhere. You can ask a question online, but it doesn't compare to a verbal explanation. Unfortunately, there is no speaking practice in my program, and I really want to talk with a professional, learn how to build sentences correctly and learn how to answer spontaneous questions.

The trial free lesson that I downloaded from the site impressed me - it was composed competently and sensibly, and although I already knew all the theory and practice outlined in it, it was interesting to go through the material again. After the conclusion of the contract, I received by mail once a month a rather thick, well-illustrated magazine, where not only drawing techniques are described step by step, starting with elementary chiaroscuro, but also reproductions of great painters are placed.
The information is presented in detail, everything is laid out for you, right down to how to hold a pencil to get this or that stroke. It is absolutely not necessary to send your drawings for verification in paper form, a scan sent by e-mail is enough. And the creation remains with you, and you will receive all comprehensive comments and recommendations from the teacher on time.
The only thing I didn't like was that it's too expensive. The point is not the cost of the educational material, but the fact that you need to buy consumables at your own expense, starting from whatman paper and ending with a sketchbook. And it is impossible to minimize expenses - each new magazine contains new requirements for the availability of the drawing necessary for the new technique.

I always thought that it was simply impossible to combine pink and green colors in such a way as not to cause a “blow to the eye”, until I signed up for interior design courses at Eshko. I won’t say, of course, that now I’m a super-pro, but I received the main knowledge base, and a very good one at that. It concerns not only theory in terms of color combinations and architectural solutions, the ability to choose a stylistically uniform option for finishing a room, but also practice: I can easily calculate how many rolls of wallpaper or laminate packages to buy for a certain square, etc. I know what materials They are "friends" with each other, which categorically conflict, which helps a lot to save money when going to building materials stores.

I liked that by signing up for the courses, you do not just get a paid package of educational material, you are given real trainings with test tasks, mini-exams. Based on the results of the verification of which, your mistakes and mistakes will be explained to you, and the way to correct them will be suggested. But the main thing is that the acquired knowledge and skills remain with you, if you wish, you can even use them as a starting point when changing your profession.

You must have noticed that I try to advertise goods or services that may be useful to site visitors. For a month now, you can see advertisements for ESHKO courses here, and I began to receive letters with questions - are ESHKO courses needed, do they give a real profession, do they give an opportunity to get a job in a new profession? I think that we need to talk about this in detail and consider all the pros and cons.

These are lessons that are sent by mail in paper form or by e-mail. What each lesson is, you can see at any time, just order the first lesson (it's free) and it will come in just a minute.

While collecting material for this article, I wrote out several of these lessons and was quite impressed with the content. Here is the content of the first few lessons from the cut and sew course:

Can I get a job after graduating from ESHKO courses?

If you, after graduating from ESHKO courses, are looking for a job in Moscow or another metropolis, where there are many full-time specialists, often with higher education, then this is not easy. And the one who claims the opposite (and I have seen this on the net) is blatantly lying! But, if you want to change your profession to one that is in demand in your locality, because there are not enough specialists in this profile, then they will take you with arms and legs!

My friend, a teacher by education, could not find a job in the village, since all the vacancies in her main specialty in kindergarten and school were filled. But there was no English teacher at the school, and there was nowhere to take him, since he was not expected to have a place to live. She completed the ESHKO courses in English and got this job.

In addition, ESHKO offers a lot of courses for self-employment. It is not necessary to look for a job for hire as a designer, programmer, hairdresser, makeup artist or tailor. Their task is to learn how to work in such a way as to be in demand among customers. That is, they can easily freelance. If desired, they, over time, can issue an IP and continue to work for themselves officially. By the way, for such people ESHKO offers special courses "How to start your own business" and "Fundamentals of Accounting".

For many, ESHKO was the first step into a new profession, that is, after completing the courses, they went on to study further, including to a university. This is a good option for high school students who are not sure about their chosen profession. Taking courses, they will be able to understand its features and decide whether they should master this profession or choose another one.

Anyone who has taken a job or been waiting for a promotion knows that the more crusts you submit, the more likely you are to move up the career ladder.

One friend recently got a job and the issue was resolved in his favor thanks to the crusts about the end of 1C: Accounting courses in time immemorial, although his new job will not be connected with accounting in any way. Another case: a friend at work, deciding whether to take her to a new position, was asked whether she knows English and whether she has a driver's license, although neither of these is absolutely necessary to fulfill her new duties.

Do not forget about such a thing as self-education. Remember who you wanted to be when you were young? Maybe it's time to get this profession at least as a hobby? Learn to sew, knit, dance, draw or create beautiful interiors. It's great to learn a foreign language just for yourself. For many, this is a life dream, so why not realize it? ESHKO offers a couple of dozen foreign language courses, including the fashionable and now highly demanded Chinese. At one time I graduated from the school of speed reading and it helps me a lot in life, there is such a course at school.

Pros and cons of ESHKO

I found the pros of ESHKO on the Internet (although not all of them seemed to me pluses, so I shortened the list), I collected the minuses myself to make everything clearer, I arranged this information into lists.

Advantages of ESHKO

  1. ESHKO distance courses have been operating for many years and this methodology has proven its viability and effectiveness.
  2. The structure of the lessons stimulates further learning, allows you to gradually move from simple to complex and quickly get a practical result.
  3. This school is open to people of all ages and levels of education. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge in areas that are very far from you and, while living somewhere in the outback, to master, for example, programming or WEB-design.
  4. You can individually select the pace of classes, but on average, it is enough to spend 30 minutes every day to learn the entire program. That is, even the busiest person can learn.
  5. You can refuse to study at any stage, as each lesson is paid separately.
  6. Each student receives a personal teacher who checks homework and gives the necessary recommendations.
  7. Each course is a mass of manuals and additional materials that you can return to again and again.
  8. After graduating from the course, the student can always continue on preferential terms on a more difficult course or on any other course of the school. For example, in ESHKO there are 8 English and 6 German courses for different ages and levels of knowledge, which allows you to learn it from the basics and come to professional knowledge.
  9. You can take multiple courses at the same time.

Cons of ESHKO

  1. Courses are paid. Although I’m not sure that this is a minus, because practice shows that people value only what they have to pay for with their hard-earned money. Moreover, well-ordered classes, which are also checked by the teacher, discipline and give confidence that the course will not be abandoned after a couple of lessons, because there is no time \ flu \ emergency at work \ just laziness.
  2. If you can learn accounting, marketing, sewing or playing the guitar remotely (and I know such people), then virtual lessons will not be enough for the massage therapist profession. It is desirable to find someone who will give at least a few practical exercises.
  3. Having signed up even one trial lesson, you will receive a bunch of spam, though very harmless and related only to the school - news, information about new courses, discounts, birthday greetings, philologist's day, etc.
  4. A certificate of completion of ESHKO courses is not a college diploma, much less a university degree, so the attitude of personnel officers towards it is rather cool and you will have to prove that you are really worth something.
  5. I think that spending money on such rubbish as the art of feng shui and a couple of similar courses is irrational. All this is available on the Internet for free.

Personally, I was interested in the Programming for Beginners course, I have already received a trial lesson. I have been wanting to learn this for a long time, I even looked at books about programming for beginners in a bookstore and they made a depressing impression on me. One was clearly not for beginners, the second table of contents generally made an indelible impression, since 90% consisted of the following chapters: “How to convince your boss to raise your salary”, “How, working in a team, to dump the bulk of the work on other programmers”, etc. .d. As they say: without words .... It's summer now, Crimea, the sea, I'm not up to studying yet, but in the fall I will definitely order this course, and after finishing it, I'll tell you about my impressions.
